Some girls DO NOT have sunblock in their makeup or daily regime. Which is totally a big NO-NO. I believe the standard regime would be toner and moisturizer then you apply your makeup. But but but... before all that makeup/primer etc. It's always good to have a sunblock as your base!

I have been a big fan of Biore Products. All the while I've been using their wipes for removing makeup. One sheet of wipe is enough for my face. I never explored or thought of having another kind  of makeup remover until samplestore sent me Biore's Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover.

Do you know the importance of removing makeup? 

For myself, I only realize how important it was after I started having breakouts. Whenever I go drinking and go home tipsy, sometimes I am so drunk to even remove my makeup *bad drinker*

I wake up in shock that all my makeup is still piled on my face!! *HORRIBLE* I will find many comedones on my forehead and chin after.... Then my skin got really bad and I always force and remind myself to remove makeup before I head to bed.

The new improved Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover is has a smooth jelly-like texture that is gentle on the skin. It is made with 40% moisturising essence nourishes and hydrates skin for a dewy moisturised finish!

I have applied 3 different makeups that I apply on daily basis. 

1. Black Eyeshadow
2. 3CE Lipstick
3. ZA Liquid Black Eyeliner

How to use
1. Pump an appropriate amount (2-3 pumps) onto hands and spread evenly over face and eye area.
2. Massage gently to dissolve makeup.
3. Rinse thoroughly with water. It is not necessary to remove cleansing liquid with cotton pad or tissue.
4. For best results, apply on dry face and hands. Do not use facial cotton pad or tissue.

It actually have a high cleansing ability which dissolves and lifts of all traces of makeup effortlessly.

Just merely making a few circles on my skin with my finger, all the makeup simply started going away! You can see that it combined with the aqua jelly, turning black-ish colour, but leaves no residue on my skin!

I was quite amazed! I did not have to wash 2-3 times, just 1 wash! It's enough to clear all the makeup!

I went to rinse the remaining Aqua Jelly off with water. And there! 

No residue, not sticky or greasy, no leftover makeup! Totally clean!! Omg.

I'm back with many products to review! I'm thrilled to have receive the products from samplestore. Recently I have very bad skin... when I mean by bad, it is peeling cause of the dryness and itchy and red patches on my cheeks and neck. Been bothering me for awhile. My skin is not the porcelain kind, oh how I wish.

So I received the Esemtan Wash Lotion and Skin Balm few days back. 

After reading the product background, I'm super excited to try it out!

It's suitable for all skin types, my especially good for dehydrated, dry, & sensitive skin.

I was taking pictures in the living room when my dad came up and said

" eh, why you got this? last time when you young, you also use this ma "

Then it came to my mind, when I was young, I had eczema which causes me to keep scratching and severe dry skin. I actually used this product before when I was a young girl! Just that over the years, my skin got better and I changed brands till I forgot about this! 

Now that my "evil" skin is back... It's time to change out my old body soap!

Usually for sensitive skin, it is not advisable to use products that are high in chemicals or even certain fragrance/colouring.

But for Esemtan, it contains Allantoin, it is pH neutral for the skin and soap free, suitable for sensitive and stressed skin. Naturally, it had passed strict skin sensitivity tests and was approved by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) – a body dedicated to the safe use of fragrant chemicals, and essential oils in perfume and skincare.

How to use

Body Wash: Just use it like your regular body soap while in the shower

Hand washing: Just use it like any other hand soap. A little on your palm, wash thoroughly, rinse & dry.

Once I poured out a little, there was a familiar fragrance... since I used it before when I was young, the mild soothing fragrance of Esemtan never really change! 

Sorry, my camera was slacking and did not focus clearly. 

But you can see that it is not soapy like the other regular soap in the market.

The soapy bubbles are very minimal as Esemtan is actually soap-free!

You may think that soap-free will not clean your body as good as the other soaps, which will give you a squeaky clean feeling. But you are wronggggg.

Soap-free cleansers work on your skin the same way as soap, but they're made of milder ingredients that do not deplete skin's oils.

Let me summarize for you the main points for Esemtan Wash Lotion.

SPRING X TOKYO 10D9N / DAY 8

SPRING x TOKYO 

3rd April 2015 to 12 April 2015

Day 8 of Tokyo and we are going to pray for health and happiness! Did a lot of research about the temples and shrines in Tokyo. So we boiled down to Asakusa, which is the a district/area in Tokyo where Sensoji Temple is.

DAY 8

Asakusa Temple Visit & Tokyo Dome

Asakusa is very easy to travel to, just take the metro to Asakusa and follow the signages. It's quite big, so it's hard to miss. We went there early in the morning, and there is already so many people! 

Sensoji Temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo, it's a must go!

Before arriving at the temple, you have to walk down a whole street of shops which is selling souvenirs and many snacks!! I bought one of my best snack from here! Best snack because my colleagues finished the whole pack within a day...

Finally at the entrance of Senso-ji Temple

We saw everyone holding this. So we went to bought one each. It's kinda like a joss stick that we use in Singapore also. 

After lighting the "joss stick" you stick it into the urn, and get as many smoke on you! The surprising thing is that all these smoke was not hurting my eyes! It was actually quite nice. Haha. So i stood there and tried to absorb as many smoke I can. It's for good luck!

Same thing in all temples and shrines, you have to cleanse yourself before heading in. This was their water foundation where you have to wash your hands and mouth. 

At this shrine, you can draw for Omikuji which is a fortune.

Mine was quite inspiring and true for me. You really have to ask the right questions or pray for the thing you want when shaking the box.

Right beside this area, there is this wireframe for people to tie their bad fortunes onto. So you would not bring the bad fortune home with you. I did not take a photo of it, cause I dont want bad luck with me! Haha! *pan tang*

We got hungry and bought takoyaki and beer right in the middle of noon.. #canmeh

Then we saw this, maybe i'm sua ku but i've never seen this in Singapore.. I think because Singaporeans don't cycle to work/out. Japanese cycle to different locations a lot, so i guess this was really convenient to them.

We then travelled to Tokyo Dome because I read something about a roller coaster here....

It's quite huge in real life that for someone like me(love rollercosters) I was taken aback and wanted to back out!! And the tickets was expensive, $13 SGD a ride!

This roller coaster is called Thunder Dolphin, 10th tallest continuous circuit roller coaster in the world. That you see there is an 80° angle down!! I was totally backing out after I got seated and buckled up.. I had no handle to hold! 

But the scary part is over after that first drop. The first drop is the scariest when your heart is going pop. After that is damn fun cause it's going so fast! (130km/hr)

 After the ride, we shopped around Tokyo Dome and found Spa Laqua.

Spa Laqua is a indoor spa/jacuzzi/hot spring/sauna. Amazing concept where everyone who enters have a tag, and you purchase your treatments with the tag. 

They strictly do not allow tattoos, so please cover up. Because I have tattoo, I can't go into the hot springs(naked only, they don't allow towels/swimsuit)

For me, I went for Ear Cleaning, Hair Treatment, Facial Treatment and Marble Floor Sauna. We spent the whole second half of the day there and only left at 11/12pm? It's opened till 4am, but we left in time to catch the train. (midnight cab is expensive)

The place provides you with everything! Towels, Bathing Robes, Body&Bathing Essentials, Comb, Hair Dryer and even Makeup for the ladies!
