So I turned 21 on the 23rd of October, Friday. Since it was a friday, I decided to keep the actual day to spend with my love. And 24th which was Saturday to celebrate with my friends!
To help out future 21st party planning, here was how I did up my birthday!
#NO.1 : THEME
You have to finalize your theme before you start doing anything else. My theme colours was Pink, White and Gold. Simple and sweet. I got many inspirations from Pinterest too.

#NO.2 : VENUE
You have to think about the number of guest you'll be having and who are they. I had a mixture of guys and girls who will be attending. I researched a few chalets and hotels and narrowed down to MBS Sands Suite. I thought of a few pointers to take note..
Location in SG
MBS is in town area, MRT accessible and suitable for all my friends. I wanted to book villas at Changi side, but i thought of my friends who stayed in the WEST.... Cab down is ex, MRT is darn long. So I wanted a location in the middle of SG.
How many guests I'll be having
I estimated 30-40pax for my birthday. People are going to come and leave at different timings. You need a good area to cater your guest (seating etc) and keep them entertained.
The activities/entertainment you want to have
I loved the idea of having MJ room in the villa at Changi CSC, I loved the idea of having a swimming pool in my room at W Hotels. I loved the BBQ + MJ at Changi Treehouse Villa. So many locations to choose and all had their good points.
Eventually, I chose MBS Sands Suite because it came with a Pool Table, Spacious Living Room with big sofas, 3 TVs, and 1 Bedroom and 2 Toilets for all my guests, and importantly 3 balconies for all the smokers.
Whole place is fully air-conditioned so nobody will be complaining that it's warm... *except me, i was sweating the whole time.

Overall, I LOVED MBS. I loved the butler service so much that whenever I have any request, I just call them with 1 button. Of cos, you have to ask politely la.

I can't remember what else I asked, but god I asked them for almost everything. And the butlers were so attentive and kind! No request from me was denied! My whole experience from check-in to check-out was perfect. Check-out was great because I didn't have to go to the lobby to check-out! The staff came up with the bill etc to my room to check out! *perks of paying more* I felt that my $1250 was very well-spent cause I was treated like a VIP. hehehe
#NO.3 : DECORATIONS
Now that I have firmed up my theme to be pink, white and gold. I have to start gathering and buying all my decorations based on my inspirations.
I got most of my decorations from Taobao and bought them thru 65Daigou.
I did my research many months back, I bought 1-2 pcs to QC(quality check) first before buying the rest. So I actually took 2-3 orders to 65Daigou before I got all my deco with me.
I made a list of all the decorations I needed before I order. I have included the links as well.

I did my "CELEST21" bunting myself, bought the craft papers and gold glitter foam from Popular. Many templates and ideas you can grab from Pinterest as well.

I got the help from my very #talented friends who did up the deco for me.

#NO.3 : MORE ENTERTAINMENT
As much as I love my friends, and I'm so so afraid they will be so bored. I hired a photobooth from 8pm to 10pm for my friends to take unlimited printed photos!
I love how the pictures turned out to be! At the end of the night, they even gave me a softcopy CD straightaway for all the photos taken that night!
Photobooth comes with Props, Backdrop, Professional Lighting and Design of your printing!
I chose FabFoto SG after researching many many photobooths and blogs.
Fabfoto is most cost effective compared to all the other photobooths shops. For 2 hours, I took a total of around 140 single shots!
Cost of Photobooth w Instant Printing : $480 for 2 hours
#NO.3 : FOOD
I have no idea why I was so busy that I didn't take any pictures of the food! >:
I estimated I had 30-40pax coming. I ordered $12/pax menu for my guests, and ordered 30pax.
The only food that was cleared out was the Otah. Hahahaha.
This catering is Halal, It would be good if you have Malay friends coming over (:
You can whatsapp the owner, Shoan, if you have any enquiries.
Note that for MBS/all hotels, they do not allow you to bring the warmer (scared you burn the room) So you can only contain your food in aluminum trays and the food will turn cold after 1hr...

I bought 4 bottles Moscato from DFS and 72 cans of Beer from SengSiong.
Cost of Drinks : $350
I had a very enjoyable birthday party, and very sorry to all my friends if I was a bad host and didn't entertain you enough!! I am so thankful for all that came for my party and those who weren't able to make it, it's okay! We'll meet up for dinner for catchup! #agingproblems #notime
