SPRING X TOKYO 10D9N / DAY 5

SPRING x TOKYO
3rd April 2015 to 12 April 2015

Day 2 at Tokyo Disneyland we head to Disneysea!
People may think DisneySea is a water themepark or a theme park that puts Disney Characters in a water environment? That was what i thought before I researched anything on it.

Early morning we checked out from our hotel, grabbed a heavy breakfast to allow us to have enough energy for the day! From our hotel, we got the chance to take the Disney Train!

DAY 5
Tokyo Disneysea

Once we got down the train, we queued for entering the park for around 30 mins?

Disneysea is not as crowded as Disneyland, which allowed us to take our time to enjoy the views, shows & each area of attractions.

Once you enter Disneysea, you'll be seeing this globe which is something like Universal Studio's Globe. While Vincent runs to grab the FastPass Tickets for the ride we want... We had extra time to take some photographs. :X

Once you've walked further in, you'll reach the center of DisneySea. There's the huge lake, main attraction which is the volcano, ships and the great scenery you'll be able to enjoy.

Journey to the Center of the Earth
Rating 10/10!
Since we are in early(9AM), we grabbed the FastPass for 10:10AM ride. But we went to queue for the ride in the regular queue also. We queued for another 20 mins for the ride? So that way, we get to play this ride twice! *hooray*

First you get into a elevator that brings you "down" to the center of the earth. The lift is designed in the way that the sound & visual effects would give you the feeling that it's travelling down.

The roller coaster will take you around the "inside" of the volcano first, after which you'll reach the highlight of the ride where you'll be travelling out of the volcano at 76km/h!

Sorry! No pictures of how the inside looks like as I wasn't sure when the ride would be travelling fast or slow! Me scared my camera fly... ><

See below for the Youtube POV Complete Ride-through

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Once we're done with JTTCOTE, we went to queue for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The regular queue was only 15mins wait, so we didn't waste our FastPass on this.

This ride wasn't a thrilling one, it's great for kids thou. They make you ride a "submarine" and brings you down under the sea to see the mystical creatures below.

Watch below for the whole ride-through!

We walked all the way to find Indiana Jones Adventure closed for some short checking.. and it rained.... so we took shelter in their cafes till the sun was out. And just nice, we could get our second FastPass & Indiana Jones Adventure is back up!

It's very relaxed to walk around in Disneysea, we took boat rides around the park cause we were lazy to walk.. HAHA

Indiana Jones Adventure
It's time to head back to Indiana Jones Adventure for our ride!
Rating 9/10!
It's kinda like the Mummy ride in USS. With the storytelling and atmosphere it created.

Watch the video below for the whole ride-through! Keke

Raging Spirits
In the same area with the Indiana Jones Adventure Ride, there is the Raging Spirits. There was many 2/5 or bad ratings in a few sites, so I was not expecting any fun from this ride. But to my surprise, it was actually quite an enjoyable ride! We did not get any fastpass for this, we queue for around 30-45mins if i'm not wrong.

I would personally give this a rating 7/10 because of the loop it had!

Tower of Terror
We took the train ride to another area of the park to get Fastpass for Tower of Terror...
RATING 10/10!
It's the ride where you can get your pictures taken and get a souvenir. We weren't ready for our shot.. so we didn't buy them D: This ride has an storyline with good drops in the ride. Hehe.

See the top floors there? That's where you'll be during the ride.

I super love this ride. MUST WATCH!

In the same area, there's they super hyped and raved about Toy Story Mania. We didn't rush in to get FastPass for this as it's also an interactive game like Monster's Inc in Disneyland, not our cup of tea! But the queue is still SUPER crazy for Toy Story Mania.

My camera then decided to die on me... so here comes the shit quality photos!

Overall Verdict: BOTH PARKS ARE LOVE.
I loved both Disneyland and Disneysea as it's not just about the rides but the effort & details that was put into creating this themepark, this experience for us. The very friendly and helpful staff, the people inside the warm stuffy costumes, the joy they bring into Disneyland making the place so different from the rest. I would give a big thumbs up to all the staff working in Disneyland.

1 day in Disneyland and 1 day in Disneysea is just nice for me. How bout you?
